This cute easy crochet sun hat is so easy to make and perfect for a sunny day!
Written in baby-adult sizes, you can make one for the whole family! This pattern uses 100% cotton yarn and size H crochet hook.

Materials:
- Hook size H, 5.0 mm
- 100% cotton yarn (size 4 weight), I used Lily Sugar N’ Cream
- Blunt needle
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
st(s)- stitch(es)
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
Gauge:
12 sts x 7 rows = 4″ square
0-3 Months
3-6 Months:
6-9 Months:
9-12 Months:
Toddler:
Child:
Teen/Adult:
Brim:
Next row: Change color if desired. 2 sc in first st, *sc next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st,* repeat from * around.
Next row: 2 sc in first st, *sc next 3 sts, 2 sc in next,* repeat from * around.
Next 3 rows: Sc in each st around. Fasten off on last st of last row and weave in all ends.
Optional: strap for baby sizes:
Pick up a st anywhere on the inside side of the hat (where you started the brim) and ch 35. Fasten off. Lay hat down and pick up at st at the same spot on the other side of the hat and ch 35. Fasten off, weave in ends.
