• Size F (3.75 mm) hook for 6–12 month size

• Size G (4.0 mm) hook for all other sizes

• Medium worsted weight (4) 100% cotton yarn in 5 colors (I used Lily Sugar’n Cream)

• Main color:

  • 1.5–2 oz for baby sizes

  • 2–2.5 oz for toddler size

  • 2.5–3 oz for child size

• Optional: Stitch marker

• Blunt needle

Abbreviations:

• st(s) = stitch(es)

• ch = chain

• sc = single crochet

• hdc = half double crochet

• BLO = back loops only

• sl st = slip stitch

Gauge:

10 rows and 12 hdc = 4″
