Super Easy Free Neck Warmer Pattern

Materials:
- Size 3 yarn (2 strands held together), you can use a size 4 medium weight yarn or bulky yarn, just be sure to check your gauge. I used Yarn Bee Sugar wheel Cotton in “City Beat,” about 6 oz. needed (2 skeins).
- Size H, 5.00 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
st(s)- stitch(es)
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
dc- double
flo- front loop only
blo- back loop only
sp- space
sl st- slip stitch
Gauge:
12 sts X 6 rows of pattern = 4″ square
Multiples:
Multiples of 6
Pattern:
Ch 108
Row 1: Dc in the 3rd ch from the hk and each st across, turn (106).
Row 2: Ch 2, *dc in the blo in the next 4 sts, ch 2, sk next 2 sts,* repeat from * to end, turn (106).
Row 3: Ch 2, *dc in the flo in the next 4 sts, 2 dc in ch 2 sp,* repeat from * to end, turn (106).
Repeat rows 2 and 3 for a total of 13 rows, ending with row 3.
Do not fasten off.
Construction:
Fold one side of the neck warmer over the other so it forms a V in the front.
Continue to evenly sc around the entire piece joining together the parts where they overlap.
Sl st in first st to join.
Fasten off weave in ends.
Border:
Cut 4 strands together about 10″ in length. Fold in half. Insert hook in a stitch pulling the middle part through. Yarn over and pull through all yarn.
Repeat every 3 stitches around the border of the neck warmer.
Trim to 4″ or desired length.
