Quick Easy Fast Beginners Crochet Blanket Free Pattern

Create this quick easy fast beginners crochet blanket with this free pattern!

This beautiful blanket features basic crochet stitches to create a stitch pattern that is great for color changes or using different colors!

Perfect for a beginner crocheter and first project, this simple pattern works with 2 row repeat to make a simple blanket with lots of texture and detail!

The blanket uses a crochet hook H (5.00 mm), 2 strands of light weight (size 3) yarn held together and tapestry needle.

A size 3 weight is a thinner yarn so I wanted to work this blanket with 2 strands held together for a thicker blanket.

You can also use worsted weight yarn and a bulky type of yarn (chunky yarn), just be sure to check your gauge and how many skeins of yarn are needed to find the right yarn for your blanket.

The amount of yarn needed will depend on your yarn weight and how many yards are in each skein of yarn so it is a good idea to make sure you have all the materials you need and check your gauge swatch before you begin.

This pattern features simple stitches and is complete with a video tutorial.

A good pattern for new crocheters and making your first blanket!

This square blanket pattern can be easily adjusted to any blanket size, (baby blanket, throw blanket, cozy blanket, afghan patterns) etc.

The blanket measures approx. 45″ X 45″ and is the right size for a lap sized blanket/throw.

This beginner blanket features easy stitches and is a great project to take with you on the go.

Great for an skill level, this easy pattern gives you a step-by-step tutorial and video!

A great choice for a beginner crochet blanket!
