Materials:
- Size I, 5.5 mm crochet hook
- Medium weight (size 4) yarn in brown, beige, ivory and dark brown
- Tapestry needle
- Safety Eyes

Abbreviations:
st(s)- stitch(es)
hk- hook
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
BLO- back loop only
Body (with brown yarn):
Chain 12
Round 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hk and next 9 chains. 5 hdc in end ch, hdc next 10 chains down the other side of the foundation ch, 5 hdc in last ch, sl st to join (30).
Round 2: Ch 2 (doesn’t count as a st), hdc next 10 sts, 2 hdc in the next 5 sts, hdc 10, 2 hdc in last 5 sts, sl to join (40).
Round 3: Ch 2 (doesn’t count as a st), hdc next 10 sts, [2hdc in net st, hdc in next st] x 5 times, hdc 10, [2hdc in next st, hdc in next st] x 5 times, sl st to join (50).
Round 4: Ch 1 (doesn’t count as a st), sc in the BLO in each st around. (50).
***You will now work in the round, place stitch marker here if you need to***
Rounds 5-7: Sc in each st around, sl st to join (50).
Fasten off, weave in ends.
Ears (Make 2, with beige yarn):
ch 7
Round 1: Hdc in the 2nd ch from the hk and next 4 chains, 5 hdc in end st, hdc next 5 sts (working your way down the other side of the foundation chain), sl st to join (15).
Round 2: Ch 1, sc in the next 8 sts, ch 3, sc last 7 sts, sl st to join (15).
Round 3: Switch to dark brown yarn, ch 1, sc in the BLO in each st around, sl st to join.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
With tapestry needle and brown yarn, sew the ears onto either side of the top of the holder.

Stripe (with ivory yarn):
Ch 5
Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from the hk and each ch across, turn (4).
Rows 2-5: Ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (4).
Fasten off leaving a long tail.
Sew onto holder.
Weave in ends.
Nose (with beige yarn):
Ch 6
Round 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from the hk, hdc next 3 chains, 5 hdc in end ch, hdc last 4 chains
, sl st to join (13).
Round 2: Ch 1, *2 sc, sc,* repeat from * around, sl st to join.
Fasten off leaving a long tail.
Nostrils (with dark brown yarn):
Make a magic circle and ch 1.
Sc 4 in circle and pull to close, sl st to join.
Fasten off leaving a long tail.
Sew on nose.
Weave in ends.
Hair (with dark brown yarn):
Cut 9″ long pieces of yarn.
Insert your hk in each st along the top inbetween the ears.
Pull the middle of the strand through each st, yarn over and pull strands through.
Repeat with every st across.
Trim to 2″ or desired length.
Eyes:
Attach safety eyes to the middle of your holder.
Tip: Lay glasses down first to pick the placement of the eyes.
