The stay on crochet fur baby bonnet is so sweet and cozy for your little one!
The bonnet works up quickly using bulky weight yarn and is finished with a cozy faux fur trim. My favorite part is the secure attachment (iron on velcro) on the side so baby can’t pull it off (my son takes off every hat, but not this one 😉

Faux Fur Trim:
Pick up a st at the front end corner of the under neck strap and ch 1. Sc evenly around the entire front edge of the face. Sl st in first st and fasten off. Weave in ends. Continue with iron on velcro.
Iron on Velcro:
Cut your iron on velcro about 1-2 inches or use 1″ iron on squares if you purchased those. Place the soft side on the front lower side of the hat and the scratchy side on the under chin neck strap. ***Please make sure that you are ironing on a soft side and a scratchy side and not 2 of the same side as they will only velcro together if it is a soft side and scratchy side.*** For both parts you will be placing a cloth over the velcro (adhesive side down) while placed on your hat and hold the iron on high heat for 90 seconds. Lift slowly and double check that your velcro is on securly (when it is cool). Press down again with your iron if you need to. Repeat with the other side.
You’re done! Great job!
