So cute on little feet these little booties make a perfect gift for a new mom and are a great beginners pattern.
I love small projects and this is a great idea for a free crochet pattern featuring simple crochet stitches that is perfect for a newborn baby (baby boy or baby girl).
Great for any skill level (basic crochet stitches) this crochet baby pattern is a great pattern that works up quickly and has easy to read pattern instructions.
Makes an adorable baby shower gift, 0-3 months size.
This baby bootie pattern is made with a size H, I, J or K hook size (check sizing below for the mm hook you need) and 2 strands held together of bulky weight yarn (the best yarn for a quick project!) and yarn needle.
Simple and sweet, these crochet booties make a great gift for a new arrival and are so cute for baby’s feet!
The finished product measure approx. 3.5″ in height.

How to make your booties not slip:
I get this question a lot and have a couple solutions I think work really well:
- Puff paint. Squirt little dots or lines of puff paint on the bottoms. Turn them upside down and let them dry overnight before use.
2. Clear plasti dip spray. This is my preferred method as it works really well and just sprays on. Be sure to do this outdoors. Spray the bottoms and let dry overnight before use.

Wasn’t clear on row 3
Do I ch 2 then HD’s in the next stitch or do I HD’s in the next two stitches?
Chain 2 then do 2 hdc in the next stitch. Hope this helps!
You can if you want a seam in the back, I prefer not to have one so I don’t Ch 1 and just crochet in the round, hope this helps!
In row 4 you mention, to make sure ridge is facing out.
Not sure what you mean, I’m a beginner
Hi! by ridge I mean the texture that you created in that row by working in the back loops only. Hope this helps!
When following your pattern, and when connecting with a slip stitch to the beginning of the row, it doesn’t mention whether you do a stitch in that stitch or you have to go to the next stitch to do your work.
Hi, the first st is the same st that you sl st into. Hope this helps!
Thank you very much for your pattern I have been looking for an easy and fast pattern and I could not find one until I find yours. I love it!
Thank you! I’m glad you are enjoying the pattern!
Is this done in one stitch? Or the next 6 stitches?
hdc2tog 6 times
The next 12 stitches. You will half double crochet 2 stitches together, 6 times.
Thank you!
