These easy peasy crochet child slippers are so easy to make!
Just measure your child’s foot, pick the size that is closest to that measurements (remember they will stretch a little so I went half an inch shorter than my son’s actual measurement) and begin!
How to make your slippers not slip:
I get this question a lot and have a couple solutions I think work really well:
- Puff paint. Squirt little dots or lines of puff paint on the bottoms. Turn them upside down and let them dry overnight before use.
2. Clear plasti dip spray. This is my preferred method as it works really well and just sprays on. Be sure to do this outdoors.
Spray the bottoms and let dry overnight before use.

Love these slippers, made a pair for my grandson, he loves them!!!
Wonderful! Glad to hear that!
I’m stuck ! I crochet the one piece, then I sewed where it said.
The problem now is where do I pick up a stitch in the back, I’m so confused!
Another picture maybe after sewing together would help. Don’t know I’m the only one, but would appreciate help to finish. I love so far, wanted to make for my grandkids for Christmas.
THankyou
Hi Kim, I made a video for the adult size that sews together in the same way as the kids that I think would help! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02gtnNi866E&t=4s
That helped me so much. Thank you.
Easy pattern. Although the top of the toe for me always comes out pointy. Added buttons to the side … super cute
Im slow at learning and was wondering if you could re write it into how many ridges to make it eaither
So simple and easy to follow. My grandson loves his. Thank you!

I have 15 grand children so I think this is a must so they don’t pinch mine when they come over. Thank you for sharing must start asap. Stay safe
Thanks for the pattern. I’m going to try these as my first try at slippers. I’ve looked at the pattern twice, but can’t see where it says how many skeins of yarn to buy for each pair. Did I miss it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks again.
