Easy Crochet Beginner Baby Blanket
Materials:
– Medium worsted weight yarn in 4 different colors (1 skein each), about 1000-1200 yards total
– Hook size G, 4.25 mm
– Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
ch – chain (s)
st(s) – stitches
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
Pattern:
Ch 102
Row 1: Dc in third ch from the hk, dc each st across, turn (100).
Row 2: Ch 2, turn, *sk first st, dc in second, go back and dc in the first skipped st*, repeat from * to end (100).
Row 3: Ch 2, turn, dc in each st across (100).
Row 4: repeat rows 2 and 3 until piece measures 35”. Change colors every 2 rows if you desire. Sl st at end and fasten off, weave in ends.
Tip: You can make this blanket larger or smaller by chaining an even number of sts (in any amount) and repeating the pattern.

A short video would be helpful. Not clear on how exactly to go back and dc in stitch that was previously skipped. Seems like you’d have to wrap stich around the one just completed for the “go back” stitch….
