What kind of yarn did you use and how much yardage on each skein?

I just used yarn from my stash so I’m not sure what brand they all were. I used a little less than a skein of each, about 250 yards for each color.

When you go back and do the double crochet in the stitch you skipped, where do you go from there? Do you skip the next stitch? Thanks; really want to try this!

Yes, you skip the next stitch and double crochet in the next, then go back to the one you skipped again. Hope this helps!

I would like to make this bigger. Does the initial chain have to be an odd number?

Yes, add as many chains as you would like for the size you want for the foundation chain ending in an odd number and follow the pattern.

Hi. In your reply to Laura Wilson (April 15, 2021), you advised to add as many chains as you want, to increase the size, ending in an odd number. However, the foundation chain in the original pattern ends in an even number, so which is correct?
    Thank you

I personally would say to increase the size to any number ending on an even number since it’s even in the original size.
