Sunny Day Crochet Dishcloth
Create this gorgeous dishcloth! The Sunny Day crochet dishcloth features the front post double crochet stitch and shell boarder to create a cute sun dishcloth, perfect for Summer!
This project uses a size H hook and 100% cotton yarn (I used Lily Sugar’n Cream). Takes less than 1, 2 oz. skein!
The finished dishcloth measures 8″ X 8″.

100% cotton yarn
Hook size H
fpdc- front post double crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
Make magic circle, ch 2.
Row 1: dc 14 in circle, sl st to join (14).
Row 2: Ch 2, fpdc in each post around, sl st to join (14).
***you will now work in the round, place stitch marker here if you need to keep track of rows***
Row 3: *dc in next st, fpdc in next post,* repeat from * around.
Row 4: *dc in next 2 sts, fpdc in next post,* repeat from * around.
Row 5: *dc in next 3 sts, fpdc,* repeat from * around.
Row 6: *dc in next 4 sts, fpdc,* repeat from * around.
Row 7: *dc in next 5 sts, fpdc,* repeat from * around.
Row 8: Skip 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, ch 1, *sk 4 sts, 5 dc in next st, ch 1*, repeat from * around. Skip 4 sts on last st and sl st into the 2nd stitch of the first shell you made. Fasten off and weave in ends.
