50 min Easy Crochet baby booties (0-3M)
Whip up these super cute baby booties in as little as 50 minutes!
Super cute and worked in the round so there is no awkward wandering seam running up the back.
Simple and sweet, makes a great gift. Booties measure approx. 3 3/4″ in length and 3″ in height.

Thank you so much this is a wonderful quick project. I’m fairly new at crochet and this was easy to understand and worked out great.
You’re welcome Debbie! I’m glad you enjoyed making them!
I’m finding it very hard to follow along. Do the slip stitches and ch2 count as stitches? Not sure where the 9sc comes from in step 2 and I am lost after that! They look so cute, I was so excited to make them!
Sorry for the confusion. I just worked it up again and updated the pattern. I also included the ending row number to make it easier to understand. It should read better now 🙂
I’m going to try these patterns tomorrow. You say medium worsted weight yarn, can you give me some idea what size yarn that is please. Is it DK yarn or bigger especially for the hat as J hook seems very big.
Thank you
Yes, a size 4 weight, a little heavier/thicker than DK yarn. The size J hook works up quickly. If you would like to use a smaller hook you can use a size H hook and start the hat by dc 10 into the magic circle instead of 8 and following the pattern. Hope this helps.
Hello. I was hoping you could tell me about the chain 2 then sc in round 2. I’m fairly new to crochet so I’m confused that a sc follows a chain 2 instruction. I would like to make sure I’m reading it right. Thanks 😊👍
Hi! Rows 1-4 are for the sole of the bootie and use the ch2. After row 4 you work in the round for the rest of the bootie. Hope this helps!
Hi I am new to trying booties this was a pretty easy pattern to follow. Thank you for that. However if I wanted to make the booties bigger say for a 3-6 month old would I use a bigger hook and can you give me guidance on how to do that. Thank you for your time
Hi! If you go up a hook size they will turn out a little larger. I think going up 1 hook size and following the pattern as usual will give you the fit for a 3-6m size.
