Crochet Zig Zag Canvas Tote Bag Easy Free Pattern

Looking for a fun and colorful crochet project that’s both beautiful and practical?

This Crochet Canvas Tote Bag Cover is the perfect way to transform a plain canvas tote into a stylish handmade accessory.

Made with simple color changes and an easy repeating stitch pattern, this project creates a textured striped design that looks great in any color combination.

The crochet cover is sewn directly onto a canvas tote, giving the finished bag plenty of structure and durability while still showcasing your crochet work.

Whether you’re heading to the farmers market, the beach, the library, or running everyday errands, this tote is designed to be both functional and eye-catching.

With sewing needle and thread, sew the top of the canvas tote to the crochet bag.

Work in a horizontal stitch along the top of the canvas bag then sew to the inside stitch of the crocheted bag.

Continue in this way around the top of the bag for a neat stitch (you will hardly see it).

Fasten off, weave in ends.

Pin it for later!
