Get ready for summer with this patriotic crochet 4th of July tote bag pattern!
This fun and festive project transforms a plain canvas tote into a colorful red, white, and blue accessory that’s perfect for Independence Day celebrations, parades, fireworks, beach trips, and summer outings.
The crochet cover is worked with simple stitches and a repeating color pattern, making it an enjoyable project for crocheters of all skill levels.
Once complete, the crocheted cover is sewn directly onto a sturdy canvas tote, giving you the beauty of handmade crochet with the durability needed for everyday use.
I used a 13.5″ x 13.5″ canvas tote from Hobby Lobby, but similar bags can easily be found online.
Fill it with picnic supplies, snacks, sunscreen, or your latest crochet project and you’ll be ready for all your summer adventures.
Happy Crocheting!
