Materials
Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
Medium weight (size 4) yarn
Tapestry needle
Wooden bead 15-20 mm in diameter with a large hole
Notes
Pattern is written in US terms.
Hold two strands of yarn together throughout.
Ch 3 at the beginning counts as a tr unless otherwise stated.

Stitch Abbreviations (US Terms)
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
hk – hook
sl st – slip stitch
tr – triple crochet
Pattern
Heart Body (make 2)
Make a magic circle.
Ch 3 (counts as first tr).
Work the following stitches into the magic circle:

2 dc
ch 1
tr
ch 1
2 dc
3 tr
ch 3
Fasten off.
Insert hook into the center of the heart and pull the yarn ends through to cinch closed.
Weave in ends.
Joining Hearts:
With right sides facing out, use a long strand of yarn and a tapestry needle to sew the two hearts together.
Working under the outer stitches only, weave in and out evenly around the entire heart.
Fasten off and weave in ends securely.
Top Hanging Loop
Cut a long piece of yarn and fold it in half.
Pull the folded center through the top middle of the heart.
Ch 20.
Sl st into the first chain to form a loop.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Bottom Tassel
Cut 20 strands of yarn approximately 10 inches long.
Fold all strands in half.
Using another 10-inch piece of yarn, tightly tie around the center of the folded strands.
Pull one end of the tying strand through the center of the tassel and slide a bead onto it.
Thread this strand onto a tapestry needle. Sew up through the bottom point of the heart, weaving in and out around the heart, then back down through the bead. Remove needle.
Tie another piece of yarn around the tassel about 1 inch from the top, wrapping several times.
Thread one yarn end onto the tapestry needle and sew through the top of the tassel, through the bead, and into the heart.
Weave in and out around the heart and back down through the bead. Remove needle.
Trim tassel to 2 inches or desired length.
