Abbreviations
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
st(s) – stitch(es)
sl st – slip stitch
BLO – back loop only
bpsc – back post single crochet
sk – skip
Notes:
- Do NOT chain at the beginning of the dc rounds (Rounds 1–9).
You begin working directly into the first stitch of the round.
This prevents a visible “seam” and keeps the zig-zag cluster pattern perfectly uniform. - Only Round 10 uses a starting chain (because it’s bpsc).
- You will always work in between the 2 dc’s cluster from the previous round to create the zig zag pattern.
