Special Stitches (back post single crochet):
BPSC stands for Back Post Single Crochet. It’s a crochet stitch variation where instead of inserting your hook under the top two loops as in a regular single crochet, you work around the back post of the stitch from the previous round. This creates a ribbed, textured effect that looks like vertical ridges.
How to Make a BPSC:
- Insert your hook from back to front, then to back again around the post of the stitch below.
- Yarn over, pull up a loop (two loops on hook).
- Yarn over, pull through both loops.
