Crochet Chain Flower Pattern

Materials:
Size H (5.00 mm) crochet hook
Medium weight (size 4) acrylic yarn
Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
st(s)- stitch(es)
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
sl st- slip stitch
Measurement:
The final flower measures approx. 4″ x 4″.
Flower Petals:
Make a magic circle, ch 1.
Round 1: Work 10 sc into the magic circle. Sl st to the first sc to join. Pull the tail to close the circle.
Round 2: Ch 12, sl st in same st, sl st in next st; repeat from * to * around. End with a sl st. (You will have 10 petals.)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Inner Circle (Center):
Ch 15.
Row 1: Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (14 sl st)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Curl the piece into a tight spiral to form a circular shape.
Use the long tail to sew around the outer edge, securing the spiral.
Sew the inner circle to the center of the flower.
Fasten off on the wrong side and weave in ends.
