With its rich alpine stitch pattern and cozy ribbed brim, this basic crochet beanie pattern offers both style and comfort — perfect for everyone on your list!

It’s a great project for practicing basic crochet stitches like double crochet stitches and front post stitches, and ideal for any skill level.

This easy crochet hat pattern is cute and cozy and features basic stitches.

Optional touches like a faux fur pom or yarn pom pom and a 1″ button add extra flair to the top of the beanie.

A step-by-step video tutorial is also available on my YouTube channel to help you through each round from brim to top of the hat.

Whether you’re making beanies for gifts, craft fairs, or just to use up your favorite yarns, this basic beanie hat crochet pattern is a must-add to your collection of crochet hat patterns.
