Crochet Shamrock Garland Pattern

Materials:
- Medium worsted weight yarn (size 4) in green and white
- Size H, 5.00 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
Measurements:
- The clover measures approx. 5″ X 5″, 6″ tall with stem.
- The garland measures approx. 66 inches in length (can easily be adjusted)
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
st(s)- stitch(es)
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
sl st- slip stitch
Pattern:
Make a magic circle, ch 2
Round 1: Dc 12 into circle, sl st to close (12).
Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, sl st to join (24).
Round 3: Ch 1, *sc in the next 5 sts, ch 1, turn, sc next 5 sts, ch 1, turn, 3 hdc in first st, 2 dc, tr in next st, sl st in same st, tr in same st, 2 dc in next st, 3 hdc in next st, sc down the side, sl st in bottom st, sl st next st.*
Repeat round 3 from *, 3 more times.
On the last sl st, ch 8, sc in 2nd ch from end and each st back down, sl st in next st and fasten off.
Weave in all ends.
1 clover made.
Repeat 6 more times for a total of 7 clovers.
Garland:
Ch 40.
Sc in the middle top of the right clover leaf, ch 7, sc in the next middle top of the left clover leaf.
*Ch 15, sc in the middle top of the right clover leaf, ch 7, sc in next middle top of the left clover leaf.* Repeat from * to * until all clovers are joined.
Ch 40, fasten off, trim ends.
