Materials:
- Size H, 5.00 mm crochet hook
- Medium weight cotton yarn (size 4). I used Yarn Bee cotton in 7 colors. For this blanket and size you will need 1 skein of each color. Each skein is 3.5 oz., 180 yarns. About 24.5 oz, 1280 yards needed in total.
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
10 sts x 7 rows = 2″ square
Final Measurement:
30″ wide x 37″ in length.
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
hk- hook
st(s)- stitch(es)
sc- single crochet
sc3tog- single crochet 3 together
Multiples:
Multiples of 10 + 2
Pattern:
Ch 152
Row 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from the hk, *sc next 3 sts, sc3tog, sc next 3 sts, 3 sc in next st,* repeat rom * to end, ending with 3 sc in last st, turn (150).
Row 2: Ch 1, sk first st, 2 sc in next st, *sc next 3 sts, sc3tog, sc next 3 sts, 3 sc in next st,* repeat rom * to end, ending with 3 sc in last st, turn (150).
Repeat row 2, 108 times, changing the color every 5 rows.
Fasten off on last row, weave in ends.
