Materials:

  • size H, 5.00 mm crochet hook
  • Medium weight cotton yarn (size 4)
  • Blunt needle

Abbreviations:

st(s)- stitch(es)

hk- hook

sc- single crochet

dc- double crochet

sl st- slip stitch

Measurements:

Measures approx. 7.5 x 7.5″

Gauge:

13 sts x 8 rows of pattern = 4″ square

Pattern:

Ch 23

Row 1: Dc in the 3rd ch from the hk and each st across, turn (21).

Row 2: Ch 2, dc in each st across (21).

Row 3: Ch 1, sl st in each st across, turn (21).

Row 4: Ch 2, dc in the 3rd loop only in each st across, turn (21).

Row 5: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (21).

Row 6: Ch 1, sl st in each st across, turn (21).

Row 7: Ch 2, dc in the 3rd loop in the front only in each st across, turn (21).

Row 8: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (21).

Row 9: Ch 1, sl st in each st across, turn (21).

Row 10: Ch 2, dc in the 3rd loop only in each st across, turn (21).

Row 11: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (21).

Row 12: Ch 1, sl st in each st across, turn (21).

Row 13: Ch 2, dc in the 3rd loop in the front only in each st across, turn (21).

Row 14: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (21).

Row 15: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (21).

Continue to sc around the dishcloth with 2 sc in each corner.

Sl st in last st and fasten off.

Weave in ends.
