Materials:
- Size H, 5.00 mm crochet hook
- Light weight acrylic yarn (size 3), I used Mira Handcrafts yarn in 5 colors, about 100 yards/50 grams of each color needed
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
12 sts X 10 rows = 4″ square
Abbreviations:
st(s)- stitch(es)
hk- hook
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
Pattern:
Decide which colors you would like to be color 1-5.
With color 1 ch 20
Row 1: Hdc in the 3rd ch from the hk and each st to end, turn (18).
Rows 2-14: Ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 15-28: Switch to color 2, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 29-42: Switch to color 3, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 43-56: Switch to color 4, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 57-70: Switch to color 5, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 71-84: Switch to color 2, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 85-98: Switch to color 5, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 99-112: Switch to color 4, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 113-126: Switch to color 3, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 127-140: Switch to color 2, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Rows 141-154: Switch to color 1, ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (18).
Fasten off on last row.
