This is a easy crochet Christmas tree to make in different colour choices.

Crochet Christmas Tree Pattern:

Materials:
- H hook, 5.00 mm
- Medium worsted weight yarn (size 4)
- Tapestry needle
- Foam cone, I used FloraFom #6 cone (2.75″ X 6″) and a generic brand 2″ X 4″ cone
- E6000 glue or something similar
- Sewing pins
- Gems, beads, ribbon, anything to decorate your tree
Pom stitch:
yarn over, go through stitch and pull up a lp, yarn over, go through same stitch again and pull up a lp, repeat one more time (3 total) then pull yarn through all loops on hook. 1 pom made.
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
st(s)- stitch(es)
hk- hook
sc- single crochet
sl st- slip stitch
lp- loop
Pattern:
Ch 236, approx. 66″ for a 6″ cone, ch 116, approx. 46″ for a 4″ cone
Row 1: Sc 2 sts, ch 2, *pom in the 2nd ch from the hk, ch 1, sl st in same st, sc in next 2 sts, ch2,* repeat from * to end. Fasten off, weave in all ends.
Construction:
Pin the end of your long strand with the poms facing out to the top of the cone. Using E6000 glue, carefully glue the strand around the cone closely together until you reach the base of the cone. Add additional pins if you need to. Let dry.
Optional:
If you would like to add a brown trunk, chain a long stand of brown yarn and wrap it around the base of the cone. Make sure it wraps around completely adding more or less chains before gluing.
Top:
Make a magic circle, ch 1
Sc 3 for 4″ cone, sc 4 for 6″ cone into the circle and pull to close.
**you will work in the round**
Round 1: Sc in each st around (3, 4).
Round 2: 2sc in each st around (6, 8).
Round 3-4: Sc in each st around (6, 8).
Fasten off leaving a long tail.
With tapestry needle, sew the top onto the tree.
Weave in ends.
Decorate!
Use gems, beads, ribbon…anything to decorate your tree! Be creative here, you can pick anything you want! Attach your items with E6000 glue or pin it to the tree with similar color pins to the yarn on the body of your cone.
