Alpine Collection

Crochet Alpine Dishcloth Easy Free Pattern + Video

Crochet Alpine Dishcloth Easy Free Pattern + Video

Looking for a beautiful, textured project to add to your collection of crochet patterns?

This crochet alpine dishcloth is a perfect choice.

In this free crochet pattern and full video tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a stunning dishcloth using the alpine crochet stitch, known for its wonderful texture and simple crochet techniques.

With just a starting chain and some basic double crochet stitches and front post stitches, you’ll work your way through a textured pattern that’s both satisfying and quick to complete.

Even if you’re not an experienced crocheter, the step-by-step process will guide you from the first row to the final st with ease.

Plus, this project includes clear pattern instructions that show you how the pattern repeats after the repeat rows for the best results.

To get started, you’ll need a size H (5.00 mm hook), worsted weight cotton yarn, and a yarn needle for finishing.

One 2.5 oz skein is enough to make two dishcloths — perfect if you want to try a different color or make a matching wash cloth set.

The finished size is approximately 7″ x 7″, but you can easily adjust it to your desired size.

Whether you’re practicing your crochet basics or expanding your skills with the alpine stitch crochet technique, this dishcloth is a beautiful addition to your handmade collection.

Dishcloth-free patterns like this also make great gifts for family and friends.

You can also purchase the ad-free PDF for personal use, and be sure to share your finished projects on social media — we love seeing the various beautiful items you create with these excellent choices of stitches and textures.

Grab your hook size H, follow the free tutorial, and enjoy making this gorgeous dishcloth.

Happy crocheting!
