Create these beautiful crochet tri alpine fingerless mittens with this free pattern!

Measures approx. 4.5″ wide X 7.5″ tall.
This pattern uses medium worsted weight yarn and a size H, 5.00 mm crochet hook.

Materials:
– Size H, 5.00 crochet hook
– Medium worsted weight yarn (4), I used I Love This Yarn in “Light Gray”
– Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
hk- hook
st(s)- stitch(es)
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
fpdc- front post double crochet
BLO- back loop only
sl st- slip stitch
Cuff:
With first color, ch 10
Row 1: Sc in second ch from the hk and each ch to end (9).
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in the BLO in each st across (9).
Repeat row 2, 16 more times for a total of 18 rows. Ch 1.
Fold in half and sl st through the BLO of your last row and foundation ch row ends together.
Body:
Evenly sc 26 sts around (will be close together).
Round 1: Sc in the third loop only in each st around, sl st to join (26).
**Switch to next color**
Round 2: Ch 2, dc in each st around, sl st to join (26).
Round 3: Ch 2, *fpdc, dc,* repeat from * around, ending with a dc, sl st to join (26).
Round 4: Ch 2, *dc, fpdc,* repeat from * around, ending with a fpdc, sl st to join (26).
Round 5: Repeat round 3.
Round 6: Repeat round 4.
Round 7: Ch 1, sc in the third loop only for 12 sts, ch 4, sk next 4 sts (for thumb), sc in the third loop only in each st, sl st to join (22).
**Switch to next color**
Round 8. Ch 2, dc in each st around, sl st to join (22).
Round 9: Ch 2, *fpdc, dc,* repeat from * for 12 sts, dc next 4 sts, *dc, fpdc,* repeat from * around, sl st to join (22).
Round 10: Ch 2, *dc, fpdc,* repeat from * around, ending with a fpdc, sl st to join (22).
Round 11: Repeat round 9.
Round 12: Ch 1, sc in the third loop only in each st around, sl st to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Repeat pattern for other hand.
