Easy Crochet Coasters

Materials:

– Size H, 5.00 mm crochet hook

– 100% cotton yarn (size 4), I used Lily Sugar’n Cream in “Seabreeze” (2 skeins) and “Overcast”. 2.5 ounces (1 skein)

– Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:

st(s)- stitch(es)

hk- hook

sc- single crochet

sl st- slip stitch

Pattern:

With main color and 2 strands held together, make a magic circle, ch 1

Row 1: 7 sc in the circle, pull to close (7).

***You will now work in the round, use stitch marker to keep track of rows)***

Row 2: 2 sc in each st around (14).

Row 3: *2 sc, sc,* repeat from * around (21).

Row 4: *2 sc, sc next 2 sts,* repeat from * around (28).

Row 5: *2 sc, sc next 3 sts,* repeat from * around (35).

Row 6: *2 sc, sc next 4 sts,* repeat from * around (42).

Row 7: Switch to contrasting color, sl st in each st around (42). Fasten off, weave in ends.

Repeat pattern for more coasters.
