Create this gorgeous crochet beaded pocket scarf with this easy to follow pattern!
The scarf features the bead stitch and is so comfortable and cozy!
This is a fun pattern and great wearable anytime of the year.
The final scarf measures 78″ long by 13″ wide.

Materials:
- Size K, 6.5 mm crochet hook
- Medium worsted weight yarn (4), approx. 1200 yards, I used Loops & Threads Heathered Hues in “Teal”. Lion Brand has a similar color available on Amazon:

Gauge:
12 sts X 10 rows = 4″ square
Abbreviations:
st(s)- stitch(es)
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
sp- space
Bead stitch:
After you’ve made your dc, yo and insert hook around the post you made with the dc. You will be working sideways. Yo again and insert hook around the dc, yo again and insert hook around the dc, yo one more time and insert hook again around the dc. Yo and pull through all loops, 1 bead stitch made.
Pattern:
Ch 208
Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from the hk and each st across, turn (206).
Row 2: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (206).
Row 3: Ch 2, *sk next st, dc in next, bead st,* repeat from * to end, ending with a dc in last st, turn (206).
Row 4: Ch 2, 2 dc in each sp across ending with 2 dc in last st, turn (206).
Row 5: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn (206).
Repeat rows 3-5 for a total of 20 rows.
Edging:
Continue to sc evenly around the entire piece with 3 sc in each corner. Sl st in first st and fasten off. Weave in all ends.

Pockets:
Ch 24
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from the hk and each st across, turn (22).
Rows 2-16: Ch 2, hdc in each st across, turn (22).
Continue to sc evenly around the pocket with 3 sc in each corner. Sl st in first st and fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing on.
Place the pocket on each end of the scarf approx. 9″ from the bottom and 3″ in on either side. With your tapestry needle weave in and out along the stitches on the side, bottom and up to the other side (leave the top open). Fasten off on the back and weave in ends.
