Create this cute and quick crochet wreath ornaments this Holiday! They work up so quickly and look great on their own or make a wonderful picture ornament too!
The final ornament measures approx. 4″ X 4″.

Materials:
- Medium worsted weight yarn, I used Hobby Lobby’s “I Love This Yarn”
- Size G, 4.25 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Sewing needle for button
- 11″ piece of twine, yarn or ribbon
- Red ribbon for bow (3/8″)
- Felt for backing of photo
- Fabric glue, I used e6000
- Photo
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
hk- hook
st(s)- stitch(es)
sk- skip
sl st- slip stitch
Special stitches
Puff stitch: Yarn over and insert hk in st, pull up a loop. Yarn over and insert hook in the same stitch, pull up another loop. Yarn over and insert hook in the same stitch one more time and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through all loops, 1 puff made.
Pattern:
Ch 18, sl to to join.
Round 1: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, sl st to join (36).
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, puff in 3rd ch from the hk, ch 1, sl st in same puff space, *sk next st, sc in next, ch 3, puff in 3rd ch from the hk, ch 1, sl st in same puff space,* repeat from * to end, ending with a sc in last st (36).
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Twine/yarn/ribbon:
Cut a 11″ piece of twine/yarn/ribbon. Fold in half. Insert your hook in-between 2 puffs anywhere on the wreath and pull the middle part of the twine through. Yarn over and pull both strands through. Knot at the top.
Felt backing:
Cut a round piece of felt to cover the back of your photo. Glue your photo on the felt then glue the wreath over the photo.
Bow:
Cut your ribbon 18″ and pull through the middle top of the wreath. Make a bow with your ribbon and trim the ends at an angle.
Optional:
Write the name and year on the back of your ornament with a sharpie.
