Country Spice Crochet Beanie

The Country Spice Crochet Beanie has it all! Great texture, beautiful colors and cozy fit! So much fun to make in endless color combinations and easy to make!

The beanie works from the top down, then the textured stitch is then added. I call this stitch a horizontal single crochet that is worked between each post horizontally between a set of rows. I’ve included photos and a video tutorial on how to do this stitch (it’s so simple!).

If you would like to purchase the ad free PDF version of this pattern, you can do so in my Etsy shop HERE.

Horizontal single crochet:

Start from the back seam and single crochet horizontally between each 2 rows of color. Alternate your colors starting with color C, then color A, then color B. Continue in this color sequence in-between each 2 rows down the hat. Single crochet across between each post. Fasten off. With your blunt needle weave the ends into the first st and fasten off on the inside of the hat.
