So just what is a magic circle
A “magic circle” or “magic ring” is a way to start making the hat so the stitches are tighter and closer together than making chains and joining the loop. You basically make a loop a few inches from the end of your yarn and insert your hook from front to back and pull up a loop. Ch 1 then follow the amount of chains in the pattern into the middle of the circle you just made. I am working on creating videos to show various techniques but in the meantime there are many videos on YouTube that show how to do it. It is definitely worth knowing, I think it makes hats and anything worked in the round look nice, tight and neat. Hope this helps!
Im making a beanie im on thee 11th row
But it looks flat,it doesnt even look like a besnie whas t am i dojng wrong??
I only see videos for sc through the third loop only for when you do hdc, I’m not seeing any hdc at all in the pattern, just sc and double?
