These cute crochet cat, fox and monkey animal headbands are imaginative and fun for everyone! Follow this simple pattern for the band then pick out which ear you would like.
All you need is some yarn and a headband (can find for cheap at any store!) and a blunt needle.

Materials:
- Medium worsted weight yarn
- Size H hook
- Blunt needle
- Headband
Pattern for band:
Ch 8
- Sc in the round until piece measures the length of the headband, do not fasten off.
Slip hair band in the end and push the piece over the band. It will be a snug fit. Sc2tog 4 times and fasten off. Weave in end.
Fox ears (make 4):
Ch 11
Row 1: sc in second ch from hk and each st across (10).
Row 2. sc2tog, sc next 6 sts. sc2tog (8).
Row 3: sc across (8).
Row 4: sc2tog, sc next 4 sts, sc2tog (6).
Row 5: sc across (6).
Row 6: sc2tog, sc next 2 sts, sc2tog (4).
Row 7: sc across (4).
Row 8: sc2tog twice. Fasten off.
Make 3 more ears so there are 2 in white or and 2 in orange. Sc (with orange) the back loop of the white color (inside of ear) and the front loop of the orange (back of ear) around. Fasten off leaving a long tail.
Position ears like the photo and sew on ears. Sew back and forth, up and down a couple of times to make sure they are secure and fasten off. Weave in end.
Bear/Monkey ears (make 4):
Magic circle
Ch 5, sl st to join, dc 12 in middle. Ch 2, 2 dc around. Fasten off.
Make 3 more ears so there are 2 in white or brown (for monkey or bear) and 2 in a dark brown color. Sc (with dark brown) the back loop of the lighter color (inside of ear) and the front loop of the dark brown (back of ear) around. Fasten off leaving a long tail.
Position ears like the photo and sew on ears. Sew back and forth, up and down a couple of times to make sure they are secure and fasten off. Weave in end.
Cat ears (make 4):
Ch 9
Row 1: sc in second ch from hk and each st across (8).
Row 2. sc2tog, sc next 4 sts. sc2tog (6).
Row 3: sc across (6).
Row 4: sc2tog, sc next 2 sts, sc2tog (4).
Row 5: sc across (4).
Row 6: sc2tog twice. Fasten off.
Make 3 more ears so there are 2 in pink or and 2 in black. Sc (with black) the back loop of the pink color (inside of ear) and the front loop of the black (back of ear) around. Fasten off leaving a long tail.
Position ears like the photo and sew on ears. Sew back and forth, up and down a couple of times to make sure they are secure and fasten off. Weave in end.
