Materials:
-I hook
-Medium worsted weight yarn or 100% cotton yarn in green, red, orange, yellow, green (darker or lighter than mc), blue, purple and goldish yellow (for coins). Spinrite Simply Soft Yarn has a great color selection for your contrasting colors and gold coins!
-Blunt needle
Abbreviations:
st(s)- stitch(es)
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
Pot:
With black yarn make a magic circle
Ch 2, dc 10 into the center ring, sl st to join (10).
Row 1: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around (20).
Row 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space, *dc in next st, 2 dc,* repeat from * around, sl st to join (30).
Row 3: Ch 2, 2 dc in same ch 2 space, *dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc,* repeat from * around, sl st to join (40).
Row 4: Ch 2, 2 in same ch 2 space, *dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc,* repeat from * around, sl st to join (50).
Row 5: Ch 1, hdc in the BLO in each st around, sl st to join (50).
Rows 6-9: Ch 2, dc in each st around, sl st to join (50).
Rows 10-14: Ch 1, sc in each st around starting with a row of red, then a row of orange, then a row of yellow, then a row of green, then a row of blue, then a row of purple. Sl st to join at the end of each row. (50).
Gold coins:
Magic circle, 12 dc in circle and close.
Row 1: Ch 1, 2 sc in first, *sc in next, 2 sc in next st*, repeat from * around.
