Pattern Notes
- This pattern is worked continuously in the round. Do not join unless instructed.
- Place a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round and move it up as you work.
- Stitch counts are listed at the end of each round.
- The FPDC stitches create the raised vertical sections of the hat.
- On increase rounds, work the FPDC around the indicated FPDC from the previous round, then work the first dc into the top of that same stitch. This creates the increase.
- On non-increase rounds, work the FPDC around the indicated FPDC, skip the stitch directly above that FPDC, then continue with the dc stitches.
- On the bobble round, the ch-1 creates an extra temporary stitch. On the following round, skip the top of the bobble and work into the ch-1 space to return to the original stitch count.

Continue adding sc detail around each attached horn and along the horizontal areas where the yarn colors change.
If making the brown bearded hat, add the same contrasting sc detail along the color-change sections of the hat.
Finish by working sc around the exposed posts along the final textured section of the hat.
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
