These crochet horns are great to add to any hat to give it some personality!
This is a easy to follow pattern to create horns for monster hats, viking hats, Halloween costumes and more!
Crochet Viking Horns
The pattern is written for baby, toddler/child and adult sizes (just fasten off where the pattern says for each size!)

Materials:
- Medium worsted weight yarn
- size H, 5.00mm crochet hook
- Blunt needle
- Stuffing
Abbreviations:
ch- chain
st(s)- stitch(es)
sc- single crochet
sl st- slip stitch
sc2tog (single crochet 2 together)
The Pattern:
Ch 5, sl st in first ch to join.
***you will be working in the round, place stitch marker here***
Row 1: 2 sc, sc next 4 sts (6).
Row 2: sc, 2 sc, sc next 4 sts (7).
Row 3: sc, 3 sc, sc next 4 sts, sc2tog (9).
Row 4: sc 3, 2 sc, sc next 5 sts (10).
Row 6: sc 4, 4 sc, sc next 5 sts, sc2tog (12).
Row 7: sc 4, 2 sc, sc next 7 sts (13).
Row 8: sc 5, 4 sc, sc next 5 sts, sc2tog (15).
Row 9: sc 5, 2 sc, sc next 9 sts (16).
Row 10: sc 6, 4 sc, sc next 7 sts, sc2tog (18).
***Sl st and fasten off here for baby size, measures about 2.5″***
Row 11: sc 6, 2 sc, sc next 11 sts (19).
Row 12: sc 7, 4 sc, sc next 9 sts, sc2tog (21).
Row 13: sc 7, 2 sc, sc 13 (22).
Row 14: sc 8, 4 sc, sc next 11 sts, sc2tog (24).
***Sl st and fasten off here for toddler/child size, measures about 4″.
Row 15: sc 8, 2 sc, sc next 15 sts (25).
Row 16: sc 9, 4 sc, sc next 13 sts, sc2tog (27).
Row 17: sc 9, 2 sc, sc next 17 sts (28).
Row 18: sc 10, 4 sc, sc next 15 sts, sc2tog (30).
Row 19: sc 10, 2 sc, sc next 19 sts (31).
Row 20: sc 11, 4 sc, sc next 17 sts, sc2tog (33).
Row 21: sc 11, 2 sc, sc next 21 sts (34).
*** Sl st and fasten off here for adult size, measures about 6″***
If you wish to make a bigger horn, continue with the pattern until you reach your desired length.
Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew onto hat.
Fill with stuffing and sew horns onto hat. Fasten off and weave in ends.
