Construction:
Fold in half and sl st through booth loops across to end.
Fasten off leaving a long tail.
With your blunt needle, weave in and out around the base of the pumpkin and pull tight to close shut (tuck in the loose end so you don’t have to weave it in). Keep weaving in and out around the bottom to secure the base then pull blunt needle through the middle bottom of the pumpkin so the yarn is on the inside.
Fill with stuffing.
Weave your blunt needle in and out around the top of the pumpkin. As you pull to close shut, put your stick in the middle (you may have to push the stuffing a part a little in the middle to get the stick to sit in the middle) of the pumpkin and close tight. Weave in and out around the top of the stick to secure it (you may wish to add some glue at the top if you don’t want the stick to be pulled out. I did not use glue on mine as they will stay put).
You’re done! Make as many as you want for your pumpkin display!
