Create these cute crochet plaid fingerless mittens!
So cute for Fall and Winter! Create this fun plaid crochet fingerless mittens with this easy to follow pattern.
The way the plaid is joined in each round makes this a simple seamless transition from each color so your fingerless mittens look perfect from any angle.

Materials:
-Hook H, 5.00 mm
- Small amount of medium worsted weight yarn in 3 colors. Picking your colors: Make sure to pick a dark, light and middle color. The middle color should look like the result if you were to mix the dark and light colors together
– Blunt needle to weave in ends
Abbreviations:
st(s)- stitch(es)
ch- chain
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
sl st- slip stitch
Tips:
- When switching colors, yarn over as you finish the dc with the new color
- Carry the 2 colors you are working with on each row, crochet over the color that is not in use.
For the cuff:
With darkest color ch 10
Row 1-18: Sc in back loops, ch 1, turn. (9)
Fold in half and sl st ends together through both loops.
Right and left hand:
Row 1: Ch 1, evenly space 24 sc around (24).
Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), dc in same st, dc in next st, *switch to the medium color and dc next 3 sts, switch back to the dark color and dc next 3 sts*, repeat from * around, ending with the middle color. Sl st to join.
Row 3: Still with the middle color ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), dc in same st, dc in next st, *switch to the light color, and dc next 3 sts, switch back to the middle color and dc next 3 sts,* repeat from * around, ending with the light color. Sl st with darkest color to join.
Row 4: Repeat row 2.
Row 5: Repeat row 3.
Row 6: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), dc in same st, dc in next st, *switch to the medium color and dc next 3 sts, switch back to the dark color and dc next 3 sts, switch to the medium color and dc next 3 sts, ch 3, skip next 3 sts (cut the darkest color yarn to weave in later so it doesn’t show and add it back in when you need it next), dc in next 3 sts, switch to the dark color (add back in) and dc next 3 sts, switch to the medium color and dc next 3 sts. Sl st to join.
Row 7: Repeat row 3. When you get to the ch 3 from row 6, dc into each chain st.
Row 8: Repeat row 2.
Row 9: Repeat row 3.
Row 10-11: Ch 1, sc in same st and each st around. Fasten off on row 11 and weave in all ends.
