Ch 2, dc 5 in circle, sl st to join. *Ch 4, sl st in first ch, hdc in second ch, dc in last ch, sl st in next st,* repeat from *, sl st in first st and fasten off. Leave a long strand to sew onto tree.
With the right side facing you, sc through both loops of base and tree sides around each side of the base. Do not fasten off, sc two sides together up the side and down the other side of the tree sides and fasten off.
