Row 14: Ch 1, sc in each st across (4).
Row 15: Ch 1, sc2tog twice (2).
Row 16: Ch 1, sc in next 2 sts (2), fasten off.
Pick up a st in the middle of row 12 and sc 6. Repeat rows 13-16, sc evenly around the heart and fasten off.
With right sides facing out place the hearts together. In the corner of the heart put your hook through both loops (right below your sc stitches) and pull through the white yarn.
Slip stitch through both loops around the heart. When you reach the other corner stop going through both loops and continue to slip stitch across the rest of the heart and again on the other side.
Fasten off and weave in end.
Handle (with red or white yarn):
Put hook through both loops on corner side and pull up a loop. Ch 30 and slip stitch to the corner on the other side (through both loops).
Ch 1, sc in each st across and sl st (through both loops) on the other side and fasten off. Weave in ends.
Pin it for later!

I think there is a typo on row 12. It says ch 1, sc in next 6 sts across (6) but on row 11 there was 12 sts
That is not a typo, that is where the heart separates to make the first rounded top of it. The second half is then worked on the other side. Hope this helps!
