Simple Crochet Fingerless Gloves

Simple Crochet Fingerless Gloves

Fingerless gloves are great any time of year (sometimes Summer nights can get chilly)! I always like having a pair on hand or keeping them in my purse just in case.

I wanted to make a pattern that was quick to work up, had easy to follow directions and gorgeous results!

You can find the free pattern below.

Materials:

  • Any medium worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brands Vannas Choice

  • Size J hook

  • Blunt needle

Abbreviations:

ch- chain

sc- single crochet

st(s)- stich(es)

For the cuff:

Ch 10

Row 1-20: Sc in back loops, ch 1, turn. (9)

Fold in half and sl st ends together through both loops.

Right and left hand:

Row 1: Ch 1, evenly space 25 sc around (25).

Continue to work in the round, add stitch marker here to keep track of rows.

Row 2: Sc 13, 2 sc, sc, 2 sc, sc 9 (27).

Row 3 : Sc in each st around (27).

Row 4: Sc 13, 2 sc, sc, 2 sc, sc 11 (29).

Row 7: Sc in each st around (31).

Row 9: Sc in each st around (33).

Row 10: Sc 13, 2 sc, sc, 2 sc, sc 17 (35).

Row 11: Sc 11, skip 10 sts (for thumb), sc 14 (25).

Row 12-19: Sc in each st around (25).

Thumb:

Insert hook in first and last st of the 10 sc sts and pull up a lp.

Row 1: Ch 1, sc in 10 sts around, join (10).

Row 2-5: Repeat round 1 (10), sl st in last st, fasten off. Weave in ends.

You’re done! Great job!
