Crochet Jar Lid Opener 

Create this super easy and quick crochet jar lid opener! Using a gripping liner (you can find at most stores including the dollar store) and a quick scallop crochet edge you can whip a bunch of these up in no time! Cute and makes a great last minute gift! Makes opening jar a lot easier! The free pattern is below:

 

Abbreviations:

sc- single crochet

st(s)- stitch(es)

sl st- slip stitch

Materials:

  • Anti slip cabinet liners (can be found at the dollar store!)
  • G hook
  • 100% cotton yarn (I used Lily’s Sugar N’ Cream)
  • Blunt needle

Step 1: Cut a 4″ X 4″ square of the liner.

Step 2: Pick up a loop and sc 10 on each side with 2 sc in each corner.

Step 3: Sl st to join, ch 1, *skip next st, 5 dc in next, skip next st, sc in next,* repeat from * around. Sl st in first sc st and fasten off. Weave in end.
